Happy Birthday, Nicole Oliver!!! (Feb. 22, 2014)

This picture is a birthday shout-out to the voice of Princess Celestia/Miss Cheerilee, the one and only Nicole Oliver! Here's a birthday picture to celebrate!!!

I started working on this picture after finishing the one for Tara Strong's birthday. Prior to this, I found out that Nicole's birthday is on the same month as Tara Strong's! Awesome! (I owe it to AleximusPrime and a few other brony artists for the info. Thanks, guys!!)

I've made this picture very similar to the first birthday picture to Tara Strong (the only differences are the omission of a few characters and the stage is not on top of a birthday cake). Yes, originally, I was gonna make 2 birthday pictures for Tara Strong, but something happened to the first one's file and it became corrupted (don't know how) so I finished the second one to make up for it. This picture, I feel, also makes up for the lost file as well. Originally, this picture was gonna be almost the same as Tara Strong's birthday picture, but I changed my mind and made it similar to the above mentioned picture, and I'm glad I did. I added Trixie because I put her in the above mentioned picture and I didn't think of putting her in the current birthday picture for Tara Strong until after I posted said picture.

I was originally gonna use a background of Celestia's throne room at Canterlot Castle, but I remembered I had a throne room stage in MMD, so I used that instead. The birthday banner in the back was done with MS Paint. This picture also gave me a chance to use the Marzipan Mascarpone Meringue Madness cake or the MMMM, for short. (Man, that name is a tongue twister. Try saying it 3 or 5 times fast. Go on, try it.) I guess Pinkie Pie convinced the Cakes to make it especially for Princess Celestia (Nicole Oliver).

To cut down on the amount of items in the picture, I added a pile of presents (most of the presents are one file) and 3 bunches of balloons. When I added the bunch of balloons to Pinkie Pie (to make it look like she's floating, like in the "It's About Time" episode), the balloons were too dark, so I had to find an effect to make them brighter. The Adult Shader effect didn't cut it, and I went through a few effects before loading the current effect that's on them now. The effect I speak of is the Comic Shader effect. It kind of makes the balloons look like they're cel-shaded (whatever that means). I even have Spike holding a Mario Mushroom for the third time (this time, it's the 1-Up Mushroom, the other 2 times, it was the Super Mushroom).

Wrapping Celestia's left wing around me and her right front hoof around my little sister was a challenge. I did the wrapping-her-wing-around-me thing because there are times in the show when pegasus wings act like arms/hands, and I like that idea. I didn't think it could be done, but I was wrong. I did a excellent job of wrapping her wing around me. I have my sister standing on a box so that her arms can reach past the area where Celestia's neck meets the shoulder just so I could wrap her hoof around her. (I hope it doesn't look weird.)

I apologize if Dinky Hooves is not in the picture (like in Tara Strong's birthday picture), the model kept turning white as a ghost when I loaded her in. I really wanted to add her, but due to said problem, I couldn't. Don't worry, I'll try her again in another picture soon, okay?
