Rainbow Dash Takes Scootaloo Under Her Wing

Here's one of the many small pictures I worked on while I was working on Tonypilot's picture request.

This picture is yet another MMD screenshot based on another one of my favorite scenes from the show. I watched "Sleepless in Ponyville" on May 13. This episode focused mostly on Scootaloo (considering the other 2 CM Crusaders got episodes of their own). Rarity, Applejack, and their sisters decide to go camping and they decide they want Scootaloo to come along as well. Apple Bloom decides to ask Applejack to ask Rainbow Dash to come along so that Scootaloo can come, too. Scootaloo jumps at the idea, hoping she could spend time/bond with Rainbow Dash (like big/little sisters do, even though they are not related). I don't want to bore you all with describing the rest of the episode, just go watch it (on YouTube, Netflix, by any means necessary). The ending has me wondering, are they sisters now? (In my headcanon, they are. I'm sure I'm not the only one.) Don't get me wrong, the ending was great. It's just as great as the ending to the "One Bad Apple" episode (maybe more than that).

I thought of doing this one 2 days after posting the one with Luna and Scootaloo. It took me 2 hours to make. This is based on the scene from the above said episode that happens after Scootaloo confesses to Rainbow Dash (at Luna's urging) that she got scared because of her scary stories and didn't tell her for obvious reasons. What I especially like about the scene is when Rainbow Dash's right wing acts as like an arm and pulls Scootaloo close to her so they can hug (which is what they're doing in the pic). Call me crazy, but I just love hugging scenes in MLP and everything else (Especially big sister/little sister and other family member hugging scenes. Honestly, who doesn't love a good hugging scene?). In fact, I've got a few other unfinished MMD hugging pictures that I worked on (prior to Tonypilot's request, they're unfinished because they need backgrounds) that I might finish by the end of this year (maybe sometime after the premiere of MLP: FiM's fourth season).

I used the same stage and skydome that I used in the picture(s) with Princess Luna and Scootaloo because both scenes that I made MMD screenshots for look pretty much the same on the show. I even adjusted the shadows to be the same as the above said picture.

Well, there you have it! I really hope I didn't leave anything out!
