Group Hug For Derpy (The Mane 6)

This is for all you MLP/Derpy Hooves fans out there, for Derpy Hooves has returned!!!! I know it's 2 weeks too late, but I say, better late than never!! To celerate the belated occasion, I made this picture!!

I saw the new MLP episode (Rainbow Falls) on January 22 (the Wednesday after it aired), and I positively screamed in excitement when I saw Derpy!!! I'm telling you, we've been Derpy-less since the beginning of Season 4 (even though you still see her in the intro, but she's been there since Season 2, so it doesn't count), but the "Rainbow Falls" episode totally makes up for it!!!! Most people claimed that she appears in the crowd scene at the end of "Princess Twilight Sparkle, Part 2", but said pony may have had grey fur, but she had a dark orange mane/tail and you couldn't see her Cutie Mark to be sure if it's her, so that claim was invalid.

As for the picture, it features me, my little sister, and the Mane 6 group hugging Derpy. Even though Rainbow Dash is the only one who interacted with Derpy in the show, I felt that it wouldn't be right to not include the rest of the Mane 6 in the group hug. Princess Celestia and Luna are off to the side watching the group and smiling, with Celestia wrapping her left wing around Luna (like an arm around someone). I apologize if Spike is not in the picture, I couldn't find a way to incorporate him into the group hug. Maybe I'll add him in later. I've made 2 other pictures similar to this, I'll post them when I finish typing up their descriptions. Keep a watch out for them!

For those of you who may wonder, the italicized words at the top of the description are lyrics to a song titled "Welcome Home". (The said lyrics are of the first and second verses of the song.) The said song comes from an animated film of the biblical story, "The Prodigal Son" (one of my favorite church stories as a kid, and still is). I listened to this song and other songs with similar themes (like "Come Home, Perry" from Phineas and Ferb) while I was working on this picture. In conclusion, all I can say is, thank you very much, Hasbro!!! You did good!!! Derpy Hooves is here to stay, derp eyes and all!! Peace out, bronies and pegasisters!!
